Native American Storyteller Pottery Doll by Teissedre The Native American Storyteller Pottery Doll is one of the most charming artistic traditions in the southwest. This storyteller pottery was made by New Mexico artist Cleo Teissedre over 20 years ago, signed 1988. This storyteller doll was entirely hand made and perfectly shaped with natural clays that were gathered from the earth. This pottery was then fired and masterfully hand painted. This storyteller pottery doll holds a cluster of little hand made children who gather together to listen to the stories. Twelve children in all including a wee baby plus a puppy with floppy ears. Excellent condition, no damage, all children are intact with no chips and only some small paint nicks in the back along the bottom edge. This Native American storyteller pottery doll is 6" inches tall and 5-1/4" wide and about 6" inches deep.
